Kingsgate Shopping Centre, James Street.

The Kingsgate Centre is an indoor shopping centre located in the city centre. Marks and Spencer and the former Debenhams store anchors the main entrances to the shopping centre. The centre has a three-storey car park on the roof and contains 74 retail units over two floors.

For Open Studios 2026, our artists will be popping up in two retail units on the 1st floor, next to Starbucks, accessed best via James Street.

The Dunfermline Art Club Gallery will also be open all weekend, they are right at the entrance on Pilmuir Street.

The artists who will be based in The Kingsgate pop up spaces are Richard Langton, Sandie Knudsen, Beth Hamilton / Beth’s Mishmash Stash, Marie Henderson and Val Cannon.
