Richard Langton creates painted works which fragment and simplify landscape scenes using colour, form and texture to evoke emotional responses.

These scenes are inspired by his passion for natural light taken from his photographic works and graphic shapes and vibrant colours stemming from his formative interest in comic book art.

Richard believes that creating artwork is fundamentally a part of the human condition and rejects the use of AI in his creative process.

Richard is a graduate of Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, Dundee University.
