Tom Crielly is an award-winning Scottish freelance illustrator and graphic designer with over 20 years’ experience working across a wide range of styles and disciplines. He’s collaborated with a wide variety of clients over the years, bringing ideas to life through everything from traditional pencil and ink to digital tools and interactive media. Tom also runs local comic art classes for budding artists aged 8–16.

Before going freelance, Tom worked in-house as an illustrator and multimedia artist for a number of design agencies. During this time, he created e-learning illustrations and animations covering everything from advanced science and medicine to fun, educational games for children.

At heart, Tom has always been drawn to comic book art. When he’s not working on book covers, logos, exhibitions or websites for clients, he’s usually sketching out new characters and ideas. He’s always open to new projects, whether private commissions or commercial work.
