Pauline Randall

Incriminate Art

Pauline’s work is all about colour, curiosity and seeing what happens when she lets go of trying to control everything. She tends to start without a fixed plan, building up layers through marks, shapes and colour, then responding to what’s in front of her.

Pauline is inspired by all sorts of things - nature, places she’s been, and sometimes just a particular colour combination that catches her eye. These ideas don’t appear directly in the work but feed into it in a more abstract way.

After a bit of a break from painting, Pauline has come back to the studio with a fresh perspective. The recent pieces are more playful and experimental. She hopes the work invites you to pause, have a closer look, and maybe find something that speaks to you in your own way.
